Basically just given scenarios & ask questions about what you'd do in different situations & why. Nothing clinical or nursing based. The website has a practice test. Not really something you can study for
My coworker is graduating as a psych NP from Hofstra at the end of the month. She worked FT nights throughout the program & that's what I'll be trying to do as well. She said it was tough but doable. Definitely don't want to downplay how hard ...
Please believe we are getting hit BAD. I work at one of the hot spot hospitals in NY & we've been a COVID unit (regularly med surg) for a little over a month now. Admissions are finally starting to slowly decrease but the number of RRTs, codes,...
My coursework on nursingCAS was verified March 2nd, emailed about the virtual interview (casper test) March 17th, & took the test on the earliest date available which was April 2nd.
The OP seems to have exaggerated justttt a bit. I work on M/S floor which was turned into a Covid r/o floor for a short period before becoming one of the many Covid floors in my hospital. I work in one of the "hot spot" hospitals in NY. I've seen ...
Oh OK. I took my casper test on the 2nd which is their virtual interview but it takes 3 weeks for results to come back. One of my coworkers is in their Psych NP program, works full time & is going to graduate in May so its possible. Hard, but ...
I'm thinking of Stony Brook & Hofstra so far. & I'll be applying for the FNP program, I've pretty much decided that by that point in my life I won't want to be dealing with inpatient so much.
Do we put up with too much as nurses? So I'm a new grad grad nurse, graduated May 2018, & have been working as a med surg-nurse for the last 6 months. Before that, I'd been working as a nursing assistant and tele tech for 5 years. The other nig...
For clarification immediately afterward I of course told him that it wasn't acceptable and mentioned that security will get involved if he continued, which is when he stopped. But I've definitely realized since then that I should've escalated it imme...
Hi everyone!
I decided to start this thread for anyone who is taking their NCLEX in July 2018. I just received my ATT & scheduled for the middle of July giving me about 5 1/2 weeks to study.
Feel free to share any study tips/tricks, wha...
You shouldn't worry too much! The test was a lot more general than I thought & literally only got 1 delegation question & wasn't confident in any of my answers. The chances of you failing in 75 is very low.
Thank you! I didn't finish all of the questions, I had about 800 left. Overall I scored 55.2% which is in the 53rd percentile. My scores ranged anywhere from the mid 40's to 75%. I took the self assessment 3 days before the test & scored 61.3%...
Quick results made it official today! After taking the 75 question practice test on uworld my anxiety almost completely disappeard. Reminding myself of my school's pass rate & the fact that most people pass on their first try also helped!
Never heard back for the ED fellowship @LIJMC, even though I followed up with the recruiter herself & she said she would update me directly (this was on 3 different occasions that I reached out & she assured me she would). Just took the NCLE...
Update: Just got home from taking the test. Computer shut off at 75 questions (25 SATA, 0 EKGs, no math, 2 put in order questions, no hot spot) in about an hour & 15 minutes. I did the PVT & got the good pop up! I'm hoping its accurate like...
To those that took theirs already, I'm sure you guys did great! From what I've read people have been able to get their quick results on holidays. Today I rescheduled mine from the 7th to the 5th, partly because I can't stand studying anymore. After...
