I did StaRN too. 9/10 times they dont come after you. and p.s. the contract is for HCA, not your unit. So, if u want to transfer floors or hospitals u can. Just has to be a HCA facility.

I waited 9 months, barely studied, passed the first time. so....... I wouldn't put too much emphasis on the actual time. If u got it, you got it.

Nurses get called incompetent all the time, and by incompetent people. Just the way it is. Whether it's thick skin or telling them off with inner dialogue, we all find a way to move on. She's a dime a dozen, not worth your energy.

Ok, so at my work, I actually know a nurse and tech who date and are great. So it's totally possible. BUT, you sound a LOT LIKE ME, so listen up. Don't just stick with a guy cuz you don't want to hurt him if the chemistry isn't there (which it sounds like it's not). Who cares if your 27? 30 is the new 25. Ditch the baggage, become a FULL-TIME NURSE, and you'll find your prince charming when it's right.

Frankly, I wouldn't apologize. I'd stand my ground. This sounds like a classic case of a CNA trying to be a big bad wolf. She went to management to try to cover her butt. You cover yours and stick it out. She didn't feel threatened. If she did she wouldn't have started a screaming match with you.
