The first time that happened to one of my students, I just about had a heart attack. I knew that it was anatomically possible to happen but I definitely wasn't expecting it to happen and it didn't make it any less shocking!
I may need to get myself the same wardrobe! I'm getting hit hard with strep throat right now, it seems that it has been a revolving door. I have a few out with the stomach bug as well.

I worked 12 hour shifts 3x a week. We would rotate days/nights every 2 weeks. I now work as a school nurse so I normally work 5 days a week - 8 hour days. Although, i do get holidays and summer off!

No orientation here. Hardly even introduced to the staff by my principal. It was a tough adjustment at first but with the help of my fellow nurses in the district, I was able to figure out my own routine and set the office up the way I liked.
I too use the Ear-ease, they seem to work wonders! I've even used it for myself in the past. I have 4 of them currently. They are about 15 dollars each. I added an extra one to my budget the past two years. LOVE them!
