Problem with Diploma

Can you not get it certified and translated?

Hi everyone, i just would like to solicit for your advice for my problem. I am currently applying for a job in the UK and currently i am in the middle of processing my NMC registration. They have a lot of requiremensts and one of which is the diploma/certificate of graduation on my elementary grade. My problem is that my diploma is entirely written on the Tagalog language and there is no english translation underneath each Tagalog word. And to make things more complicated, the people i.e. school principal, division superintendent are already dead. I went to my school and sought the help of the people there but it seems that none of them knows what to do and they just told me that they can no longer provide me with a new diploma(in english) since the people who should sign or certify it are long gone.

Has anyone of you out there already encountered the same issue? What could you advice me to do in order to aqcuire a diploma in english.

My High School diploma was also written in entirely in tagalog. When I knew that it is needed in CGFNS-CES, I went back to my school and they issued me a diploma with english translation. Those who signed in my first diploma were not the one who signed the new one. The head of the Division office of Dept of Education where your school is reporting (I think they call it supervisor or superintendent) will certify it.

In your case, since your school does not have any idea on what to do, you can go to the Division Office and get some advise. You can ask them to write a letter of instruction then bring this back to your school.

I'm planning to have it translated but the problem is, i have no idea as to whom and where can i have it translated without having legal/authenticity issues.

Post number 2 has a great suggestion, try that

the new officials on your school should be the one signing.

I called a friend of mine in the UK migration business and he echoed what was posted above; have a new certificate issued and the new administration will be the ones to sign it.
