$ pay scale range

Hi All,,

I don't want to get to personal, but for those of you that are ok with sharing some info, would you mind telling me what the range of hourly pay is around your neck of the woods? I hear many different amounts and I am just curious if the pay can differ as much as it seems. I am just looking for an average range.

RN with seven years of experience (including MDS, Nsg Admin in SNF, Med Surg) currently making 64,000. in Central Fla doing clinical liaison work for a SNF(acute care rehab/LTC).

I accepted a position at a hospital here in Iowa...my base salary is $47,980, which working 36/hr a week equals $27.76/hr. Then there is a $3/hr shift diff for evenings, $3.50/hr for nights. $2.00/hr for weekends, and $10.00/hr for working an extra shift not scheduled.

Washington new grad ADN 23.96 an hour 12% night diff... hope this helps

Madison Wisconsin, starting pay at all of the hospitals is >29.00/hr, With 2 years experience base is 31.00 with 1.75 for pms and 3.00 for nights/weekends. The smaller community hospitals in the outlying areas are quite a bit less.

i Currently work at NY-Cornell University and i'm about to graduate next semester and i've asked some of the new nurses here and starting salary is about $34/hr, more with night shift differential. But NY is very expensive to live in

I'm a new grad with a ADN, living in south CA, I make $32.70 per hour night shift on week days. Friday, Sat, Sunday + 4.00 per hour.

I know that I just got a recruiting brochure in the mail from a hospital in Santa Barbara who is looking to hire for Med/Surg new grad program and their offer is 36.00/plus 4.00 shift diff.

One employer $19/hr, the other $18/hr, both are home health. Home health wages stay fairly stagnant because the employers say they can't go higher because of reimbursement rates. When Medical says they are going to cut reimbursement by 10% the employers start rumbling about lowering the wage. Back in 05 one of my former employers cut wages by 5% based on the claim of decreased reimbursement, then increased it again. Clients and employees complained to the state and were told that no such decrease had taken place.
