Congrats!

That was my least-favorite pre-req!!! :banghead: I also go an A, only because my professor spoon-fed us what we needed for the tests, I don't understand the concepts at all!

Congrats! I'm about to take it.. any advice? :)

 YAY!!

Congrats, that's awesome. I have Pre-Calc and Stat to take still before I transfer. Ugh.

That's fantastic, congrats!

Good job. Stats is my only B for pre-reqs. Keep it up !!

Thank you!! :) What helped me out immensely were the different apps that I downloaded from the Apple iTunes Store. The best apps to purchase for Statistics are Stats Tutor, Statistics and Probability, Khan's Academy Statistics, & Khan's Academy Probability. I invested in Probability Demystified and Statistics Demystified from The Apple iBookstore. Also, download the different Statistics courses from iTunes U. Good luck!!:)

alot of people have trouble with stats but it may have been one of the easiest classes i have ever taken..anyways, congrats on the A- !

Thanks so much for the advice!

Anytime!!:)

I guess it just depends on the person. I thought stats was pretty easy and I made an A, but I talked to several who had a really difficult time with it. I've always been pretty good at math, so maybe that's what helped me. Biggest tips: use a recorder, take notes, do all the homework assigned (and extra to practice), and use office hours and the math lab liberally. Most who whined about their test grades didn't take notes, study, or hand in homework.
