I passed LS2 only by the grace of God!!! It was extremly hard!!!! Was praying the whole time. Now onto my last nursing exam LS3. Will be glad when this is all done!!!!

Congrats! I have been delaying this until next week. I went on cruise last week and did not want to have a terrible cruise in case I was unsuccessful!

WOW! Congratulations! I acknowledge you for getting it done, I know its not easy. Im actually in that class right now.. Do you have any tips that might make me more successful toward the exam???

Thanks

First of all, WAY TO GO! Congrats! As I told Tasha, I am so jealous! I want to be there!! Also, why on earth is is the exam so hard?! Every single post you see about LS2 is that it is just an awful exam! Does anyone feel that a different route of preparation would help? More reading? I feel that I understand Excelsior's testing style now, but boy....this upcoming test has me worried!

The questions require ALOT more critical thinking than the previous ones in my opinion! Also as the content guide states this one if 40% psych, and the 25% metabolic and 25% regulatory mech makes for ALOT of different disease/medications/and nursing interventions and again critical thinking skills! Know the differences in the psych disorders VERY well as well as meds used to treat too! i think that this one is sooo hard because of the sheer volume of the material! There are so many similarities as well as some differenced between the psych disorders, as well as the endocrine system!

Know your insulins as far as onset and peak times. I had a question and the options consisted of 4 different types of amnesias, which I didnt study. There was a question on psychosexual. I used TCN modules, SG101 notes, NCLEX review book, and practice exams. Also looked some info up in med/surg and psych textbook. Just glad I passed!!!!!:yeah:
