Pace ABSN Spring 2022

Hi everyone, I decided to start a thread for Spring 2022 cohort. I noticed one Haven’t been created as yet. I have applied for Spring 2022 and is waiting on the review process. I would like to connect with existing students and those who have or will be applying.

Congratulations to all that have heard back on their acceptances! Wonderful news. The admissions board is making such quick progress. Keeping my head up ? All of you that have heard back - was it through email? Not snail mail, correct?

A few days ago, I emailed my counselor in the morning and was told to expect an email in 24-48 hours but I logged into the application portal after 6pm that night and saw the decision. Still haven't gotten the email and it's been over 48 hours! Hope that helps.

@Futuredermnurse Yes it does, thank you. I keep going straight to the portal to see if anything has changed so it seems like I have the right idea LOL ? I'm getting discouraged by thinking that they are sending out all the acceptances first and then will send out all the rejections to everyone else at the same time once they have their complete cohort. But who knows! It's a waiting game for now.

@Futuredermnurse - actually one thing to add: what made you email your advisor? I feel like I have no ground to email anyone as I'm assuming I'll just be told to keep waiting.

@lilmisshealthy Well I submitted my application the last week of August and was just anxiously waiting because it was hitting the over 1 month mark. I just asked for the status of my application and was told to expect a decision in 24-48 hours, but it seemed like the decision came that night. Maybe the counselor made it visible to me via the portal earlier? Not sure how the system works. Be patient and let's hope for good news!!

 I don't have FB

There are two ways to create a special area for your cohort, that are Terms-of-Service approved.

One is to create a facebook page.  This link is allowed to be posted.

The other is to create a "Club" within the site, by clicking on the Breakroom link (upper left-hand corner, in the yellow bar) and in the green area, click Start a Breakroom Club.

Any other references or links posted are not TOS-approved, and will be removed.

We wish you success In your Nursing program

Ah I just checked the portal and the part that says my application is complete and under review is gone... what does that mean ahhhh. The check list is still there, though.

Oh jeeze. The admission counselor info on the side disappeared as well. What does this meannnnnnnnnn

Yikes I am totally blowing this up. You all haven't heard anything?!?!

No I haven’t. But none of that information has disappeared for me.

Gotcha. When did you apply? I got everything in toward the end of August but my last two recommendations trickled in on 9/10 and 9/13. So strange. Really not sure what it means that the blurb about it being complete and under review is gone + the counselor information on the side gone as well.....

@MP_21 oops I see that you already posted that you applied mid-August LOL. I'm going crazy!
