Pace ABSN Spring 2022

Hi everyone, I decided to start a thread for Spring 2022 cohort. I noticed one Haven’t been created as yet. I have applied for Spring 2022 and is waiting on the review process. I would like to connect with existing students and those who have or will be applying.

Thank you!! I got into Johns Hopkins for their MSN Program — I applied there because I don’t want to end at beside nursing. It’s a good option for long term (to transfer credits for a PhD or DNP.) I applied to pace because it’s close to where I live, they’ve got great faculty, and it is much more affordable (not as affordable as the SUNY schools though!).

There are pros and cons for both options that I will have to weigh out!

Wow! I don’t know you but I am super proud of you! Congrats on both!

Does anyone know if rent is cheap off campus?? or would dorming on campus be better?

Congrats to all so far! I am still pending a decision and it’s relieving to know they are making their rounds. Their admissions team is approachable and responsive so I applore them for that. Fingers crossed for the rest of us ?

Hey all,

I just received my acceptance letter to Pace for the 2022 Spring semester. I look forward to meeting everyone that’s been accepted here.

To all those still waiting, please don’t give up??

I live ~5 mins away from campus and rent here is ~2k-3k for a 1 bed / 1 bath! Hope this helps.

Hi everyone! I decided to make an account because I was reading through these posts and found it so helpful during the waiting process. My stats were 3.6 GPA (had terrible freshman/soph grades but really improved junior/senior year). Got all A's in prerequisites (retook A&P and Micro). I also had 3 years+ of medical scribe experience, volunteer, and over 300 shadowing hours. Based on what I've heard in the past from other students and my own situation, the admissions committee really gives a chance to those who had significant improvements academically. I just received my acceptance and I look forward to meeting all of you in January!!

Congratulations!! Can’t wait to meet you all!!

Did anyone make a facebook group yet for accepted students?

Congratulations to all that have heard back on their acceptances! Wonderful news. The admissions board is making such quick progress. Keeping my head up ? All of you that have heard back - was it through email? Not snail mail, correct?

Has anyone else heard anything? I emailed the advisor on the website and he said that there is no time frame to hear back but it’s making me anxious I should apply to other places
