That is when I want to go. When did you find out? How did you find out and how long did it take after you were selected? Where is your first duty station? Are you active duty?

My packet went to boards 2 June. I was selected as CPT and commisioned on 23 June. Now I am just waiting to know somehthing.

Please share whatever infor you have, or pm me. I hope to see you in Feb/March.

I just comissioned yesterday.. my recruiter told me the next OBLC is jan.. hmmm?

hi, as you can see i am still looking for answers. are you going active duty? did your recruiter tell you how long it woold probably take before you got orders?

i going active duty... they told me i may not get them til right before oblc.. and i think i heard them mention possibly getting them AT Oblc.. which i think would just be crazy.. i feel like its hard to get straight true answers.. they also told me i could choose from any of the med centers or hospitals for my first 12month intern, but im hearing you can only choose from the med centers.. so im still looking for answers too lol

via my phone.....I am reserve component so I only do 4 weeks. I comissioned in jan 09 got orders to drill in may 1st drill june the education sgt is booking me for oblc. we set things up last weekend at drill after we went rapelling .and friday I finally got paid and my bonus. so I can afford lectricity now : )

I'm curious - and I'm sure this is answered elsewhere and yes, that makes me too lazy to search - how long is OBLC?

2months for active duty

Oh - my - God....God bless you, ANCs....

PS - I will actually BE in San Antonio in February-March (provided the AF doesn't change my orders - and I'll be HIGHLY upset if they do). I don't know if you all get off-base privileges near the end of your training but I'd love to meet some of you if you have time - put some faces with some names if you're interested! I'd even go to Ft Sam since it's looking as though my department will be over at Brooks by then anyway as we transition to build the new hospital at Lackland.

I can always send homemade cookies! :)

Hope this helps everyone with questions. It seems that there isn't a January course, but a Feb1st course and I guess we report at the end of January. I don't know how it all works, but this was definitely helpful for me. If you want to look at any other course here is the link:
