Nurses thanked at Oscars!

I'm thinking that someone is getting a bird's-eye view of how staffing affects patient care.

Did y'all see that the man who won for best cinamatographer (Johnson I think is his last name) said that the oscar was dedicated to his mother who has been in the hospital for the last 45 days. He went on to say, "thank you to all the nurses and doctors who are taking care of her". YES!!! he said NURSES first.... not doctors... nurses... woooo hooo. It's nice to see nurses get some unsolicited, unplanned, off the cuff, non-political gratitude. I bet those nurses are on cloud 9. They must be awesome!

It would be cool to put on a job app. ( oh ,and by the way I was mentioned at this years Oscars along with my fellow co workers) He was thoughtful to give the nurses credit first. They deserve it! :)

I, too, thought that was lovely. Remember how Letterman was so effusive of his care after his heart surgery?
