If you've submitted them less than 9 months ago, then you can petition for them to have those forms transitioned into the new scheme. The best of luck on your exam. =]

I don't have the authorization to take the OSCE yet, but the assessment (after you've passed the CBT, paid the assessment fee, and submitted the online form and transferred your old scheme forms) could take up to 70 days, maybe more. This is according to the email they sent me since I also had my forms transferred. Add to that the transition of your old papers could take at least a week.

Once you pass the test and paid the assessment fee, I suggest you complete the online form and all the scanned documents they require (birth certificate, passport, NBI clearance, board certificate, BSN diploma) immediately since their site seems really buggy. I had to request for them to transfer my papers twice because the site kept deleting my scanned documents and eventually the "this form has been submitted" text next to my old scheme documents went away.

Guys, I'm a bit skeptical about what date will my employers indicate on my "end date". I am still employed at present by both references. I am thinking if I'll just put the date when I'll send my papers. What do you think will be the safest to put?

Yes that is the correct address. For the courier..i i suggest any courier that you can have fast delivery and accurate tracking system.. i am using dhl although its a bit expensive.

hi guys! i don't have time to go back to my referees to have them fill out the County/State. as i will be flying to manila tomorrow morning. can i just leave it blank on the nmc form but still put my province in the nmc registration site? my friend told me he placed N/A on the forms and on the site.

I think it's been mentioned here that the date you paid your assessment fee is recommended. But really, so long as your online form and references match and it doesn't make your experience less than 12 months then it shouldn't matter.

With regards to the transition of documents, please reply to this email once you have submitted the online application form in order for us to transfer the correct documents in the correct place. Please state the documents which you wish to be transferred.

after you do your online application, request for transfer of the following documents from the old system which includes: Forms from you school, Reference 1 and 2, Verification (PRC), Supporting declaration of good health.. that is if you have submitted all these whilst in the old system. the rest should be uploaded on your portal. :)

It's not necessary to have completed your online application to be able to request for transfer. When my NBI clearance incurred a "hit", I requested for them to transfer my papers while I waited for my clearance to be available. So long as you've paid you can ask them right away.

I have just attended an OSCE Simulation training in my Trust, it is very helpful as you can have the feel and know what to expect on the day of the exam, Im currently working as an HCA in NHS so I would recommend for anyone in the UK working for NHS to contact your Practice Educator to book you in for trainings, these are normally for Student Doctors and Nurses. There are different scenarios and actors and actual dummy who talks, which will greatly help for the exam.

That's great news! What trust are you in, Gsimps, if I may ask? Hopefully by this manner, OSCE won't be such a huge mystery looming all UK aspiring nurses :)

Apart from the date you paid the Assessment fee, my agency also told me the date that your references filled it up/the current date you're about to submit the whole stage will be okay. :)
