Apr 29, 201511 yr Hi everyoneJust thought I would let you all know I spoke to the NMC yesterday and they said so far 3 people have sat the OSCE exam and all have passed. Not many people but at least people aren't failing first time like with the CBT when it was first introduced.
Apr 29, 201511 yr hi petrick RN... i filled up the things for eligibility application and when i submit it, the status stated "in progress".. Can you suggest what should I do..? thanks....
Apr 29, 201511 yr Hi everyone... NMC sent me an email and said i passed the eligibility stage... May I know when are we going to pay the 140 pound for NMC? Is it that we are going to pay the pearson vue only for 130 pounds and not yet the 140 pounds...? thank you...
Apr 29, 201511 yr Hi Liza! U'r all set! All you have to do is wait for NMC's decision :-) did u save the pdf files u need to be signed by prc, 2 references, ur univ and a doctor? Once u completed that, u may go ahead and send ur docs to london. Hope this helped :-)
Apr 30, 201511 yr @petrick, RNYes! Were you there too? Are you also with PNI or Jedegal? I asked PNI's staff about expected expenses and they mentioned the processing and mobilization fee and it won't be covered by the employer. That's why I was wondering why they have that. Though they also said everything will be reimbursed to us once we start working in UK. But that's still a big amount we would need to shell out before we get to UK.

The first step for you after that will be to schedule your CBT, for which you will pay the fee directly to Pearson Vue when you schedule the exam. After you pass the CBT, your NMC account will open the option for you to pay the full application fee (worth 140 pounds) and thats when you get to access their full application pack.
May 1, 201511 yr Congrats on passing! What is the state board certification if I may ask? Is that the PRC document that looks like a diploma? Who did you approach to fill up the NMC document? Isn't it that the NMC needs the declaration to be shipped directly from PRC? How did you go about this? No, I haven't solved it. I'm trying not to lose my temper when doing my uploads. I thought you upload one document at a time, but it still won't accept it. PLEASE CAN SOMEONE HELP ME OUT HERE? What agency are you under, andy?I'm under Omanfil. They are tied up with King's College Hospital Management.
May 1, 201511 yr It was really encouraging reading all the struggles that some people have had and success of those that persisted. I think I've screwed up I've just about finished my grad year, so I have a few weeks till I can go through the process on the nmc website. My plan was always to finish a year or so of nursing, resign and travel for a few months before I get to the UK to do the OSCE. My friends are going over in July so I booked a flight with them. I started the process in March (looking into everything I needed to do. I took the IELTS but I didn't take a UKVI one as I'm in Brisbane and it's not available here. I did the IELTS test on the 11th of April so that's just days after the change. I am applying for the youth mobility Visa and the centre did ring me the afternoon before and tell me there was a chance I might have to do the UKVI exam but I had so many things on I thought I'd just go through with it. There's a few scenarios in my head that will happen, I will go through the process and it will let me through to the stage where I can take the CBT exam and then I will be able to start all the paperwork. Then I'm either hoping for a miracle and they somehow accept that I did the normal IELTS or at worst they want me to do the IELTS with UKVI. I've got the Royal Marsden text book, downloaded the blue print and have plenty of links thanks to you people on here and planning on doing the exam at the end of the month so hopefully it all works out. I'm doing it through continental travel nurse (hopefully)Anyone able to offer any advice with my situation?
Anybody here who took the Pearsons Vue NMC exam? How was it? TY!
