Hi all,

I'm on the assessment stage. Has anyone done the osce yet...if so any pointers? I know you can't explain into detail obviously but any advise would help..

Hi guys.

I sat the exam last November and failed (surprise suprise) I'm only in the UK for 2 years and have already been here for 6 months. I'm undecided if I'm going to keep trying for my registration because the NMC is so terrible and takes so long do by the time I get it I won't be able to nurse for long. For those that have passed the first exam how long has it taken for the assessment stage? And has anyone sat the OSCE yet?

Congrats on those that have passed í ½í¸€

As said by the agency I applied to, the OSCE will be taken in UK after 2months or so of deployment.. there would be modules given by the employer and the royal marsden hosp manual is a good reference as well.

Hi! I want to know the steps after passing the CBT? Thanks

Hi,

I would like to ask what edition of the book you used?

Thanks in advance!

Hi @MitchiKay

Hi all, I took my CBT today (31/03/15) and Passed. I am so relieved. I have been following this thread since the 18/03/15 when i was informed by NMC to reapply under the new process. So I booked my test on the 19/03/15. I only used the Blueprint and I found it to be useful. But thanks to all those who shared their experiences and tips here, they really helped me a lot. Thanks a lot guys and good luck to those that will be taking their test soon...

The blueprint is really just one disorganized mess of very general ideas put together by people who think they're clever. Anyway, just try scan the whole adult nursing section (I think it goes up to 60+ pages) taking note of the ones marked with E* because it's widely believed they're where the critical questions are based on. On the last column, try to open as many of the links there and read them. The links get repeated and some are broken so once you encounter those just move on to the next one.

Don't hesitate to ask if you need more clarification, and best of luck on your exam. ^_^

Hi. Im also on the assessment stage. Are you done uploading all your documents on your nmc account? Im having a problem with mine. It always ends up with network interrupted. Must be with my internet connection or the nmc website glitch. :(
