One word for day shifters "CRAZY!"

i hate day shift, i'm NOT a morning person. I don't mind the business of it. i just hate it being that crazy even before the sun comes up. I hate waking up early and pretending to have to be "Jolly and happy to be at work" because the truth of the matter is, i am a freaking BEAR!!!! in the mornings. Aint no smilin from this nurse at 0700.

Boy, can I relate :) Even now, with no need to stay up (on disability, so no mandatory wake up times), I'm usually up all night. I just fuction better. With Wally World open 24/7 and another grocery store open, and mail order, I'm set :D The dumpster is open all night, the gas station is open, if I get really crazy there's Denny's or IHOP :D But mostly, I'm just up surfing the net, here, or FB. Wake me up before noon, and I'm one grouchy buzzard :lol2: Tell me to be somewhere at 2 am and I'm good to go :)

OOoooooohhhhh, I like it!!!

Although, I always thought they were more like whiners....

Dem there's fighting words :chair: :lol2: I work rotating eve and noc shift so I have no beef.

Mine would be too but I am too chicken to post it for fear of getting thrown into a corner.

This is a cool topic and right up my alley:)

Where I work we, the night shift, tend to call ourselves night owls and we call the day shift daywalkers or....of course....like someone said earlier...."female dogs"...ya know....the B word...aka....the "B****" shift ( cuz they all think they are Gods & know everything)....where I work.

I've always referred to us as the "Eloi" and the "Morlocks" ie H.G. Wells.
