I have a couple of questions while yall are waiting for the good news :) : are any RNs who got awarded in management positions, like supervisor or manager? Also does your facility have to maintain the tier number for the duration of your contract? For example, a hospital hpsa score goes from a 14 to a 9, is that now a breach of contract? Thanks in advance!

what ever your HPSA score when you apply is what u have.. If it drops during the contract it does not effect you.

Hi everyone!

Just wanted to report that I got the acceptance email this week! Yay! I'm hoping for good news about the rest of you, let us know!

Does anyone who has gotten it before know how long it takes for it to be finalized and for the money to start arriving?

Also, I'm curious what everyone does in terms of using the money - do you pay exactly out the way you had been paying before, or do you pay what you were paying before, plus a little bit extra? What are everyone's tactics for using the funds?

I called yesterday to verify the latest date possible you'll find out and the lady said October 30th so I guess we just need to be patient.

I have been stalking these threads for two years.

I wanted to let everyone know that I received a finalist letter (email) from HRSA yesterday.

I am a nursing faculty member, debt to salary ratio of 115%, Tier 1

Hope this may help someone reading for this year or next and good luck to everyone who applied.
