Yeah I noticed the color things too. My email was gold team. I wonder if it is grouped by state/region? Mine was sent at 3:57 pm. Sorry, since it is actually Tim who is the RN I don't know how to do the military time thing! I was so excited to get the email because after the HRSA guy telling me not to bother looking for email I did not expect it! I wonder how long before we know for sure! Fingers are crossed for everyone!

Congrats to everyone who got an email! Unfortunately, I have not yet. Couple questions...Did everyone's email come in their Inbox or Spam account? I have yahoo and thanks to my wife and her extreme couponing I get a ton of Spam email. Also, does anyone know if in previous years they sent emails out at various dates, meaning more than just yesterday?

Mine came to my regular inbox. In previous years years they did it in waves and I remember some people were still gettinb emails in Sept. So I still think there is lots of time. My husband has debt ratio of 186% maybe they are doing it according to ratio. Who knows, I am just happy something is happening! This wait has been horrible! The email is noms guarantee but it sure is a good start.

According to HRSA emails are sent in the order the information was received. Now take that with a grain of salt since HRSA told someone no emails were being sent this year.

I wish there was some rhyme or reason to how they do things! I can't wait for this to be over so we all know!

I got the email too!! I just checked my email about 10 minutes ago at work and my heart dropped to my stomach when I saw the email! I am sooooo excited!! yay!!! I just faxed all my paperwork! God be with all of us!!

Tess- Yay thanks for comfort! I was a tad worried the time on my hotmail account wasn't accurate (because ironically the posting times on this allnurses website is WAY off), but I sent myself an email last night and the time was right on. So yah I think I'm fine. I just faxed my paperwork off. 4 pages including the cover. I called HRSA and they couldn't verify what time the email was sent or if they have received the fax. The girl did say she thought HRSA MAY contact you if they didn't get a response to their email. That was a tad comforting even if it's probably a load of poo! LOL

Sara- Very smart and I bet we actually figured something out! Tess and I both were blue team, both received our emails at exactly 1507, and we both live in MO!

Cjvick97- Again, mine came in the inbox, but I marked HRSA as a safe sender. I would check your spam/junk regularly. You only have a 24 hr window to respond! And yes, from previous years it seems like the emails continue to flood in. Not just one date. :) Still hold hope!

Sara & BeachPrincess- I think it's safe to say we have NO idea how they are doing this. My ratio is 158% (which is painful, but lower than many), I didn't submit my online app until pretty late (and the supplemental doc was even later), AND my loan dates changing/credit check/lender contact didn't happen until 04/27/11. Doesn't that throw the "by ratio" and "by application date" theories out the window? I was SURE I wouldn't be in the first round of letters. Happy to be though!

Amy- YAY! I was worried when you weren't blogging yesterday! I had to think about you some because we've been blogging like mad since day 1!

Everyone keep their fingers crossed! Tess, we should defininitely get drinks to celebrate if we both get the award!!

I had been checking my email daily and I didn't get the email until this AM when I finally checked. I really don't know if the 24 hour thing is real because in some of the past blogs a few nurses said that the email went into their SPAM folder and they didn't find out until a few days later and they still got awarded. Anyway I got the "blue" team. I wonder what that means since I live in New Orleans, LA and you guys live in MO and still are on the same team as me! Who got the "gold" team again? I am so excited for all who got the emails, guys! Now the real waiting game begins! But this email just made my ******* week!!!

Amy, LOL there goes the one theory I thought we nailed without a doubt! BLUE TEAM ROCKS! LOL Actually I wouldn't mind being gold.... That sounds more important.

HA! That is funny you said that, actually, because I thought the same thing! Gold seems more important...it probably just means NOTHING! Or something simple like colors for the employees that we are sending the faxed info to or something stupid like that...I don't know but I will be definitely be stalking my mailman from now on! Does anybody know how long the past blogs said it took from the time you got the email to the time you get the award letter? I forget...

Amy- I just read some of 2010 and it looked like it was taking 5 weeks on average! They can't go that slow this year right? Because gosh the letters didn't even start coming until yesterday and in 2010 they started late May!!

I'm not whining though! At least I got a letter!

Oh my Goodness, I cannot wait 5 more weeks for an award letter! I would be pulling my hair out! That's a long time for agony! Yes, I am not complaining neither because I really am so happy and excited I got that email! But in the past years it seems like they sent the emails/award letters in waves and this year it seems like it's more all at once? I don't know though, maybe not! Maybe they'll still be sending out emails all the way up till September. I have called so many people that I know and told them to pray for me because I want this so badly! As does everybody. And now my hopes are just through the roof after receiving the email. My goodness, could you imaging making it this far and not getting it!?? That would be just horrible.
