A new graduate comes to you with a concern. She works nights and has been caring for an IV drug user and has been assessing this individual for pain on a regular basis. He is frequently in pain, as identified not only by his complaints but by physical changes and vital signs. When she is working, she medicates him according to physician orders. Other nurses, mostly from the day shift, have been making negative comments to her and about her related to the fact that she is just feeding his habit, and they see no need to give him so much pain medication. She does not know what to do, as the patient expresses his dread for the day shift and how much pain he will have.

We can't help with homework other than to ask you what you think the answer is.

These kinds of posts get to me:
No introduction "Hi, I am having issues with this question. Here are my thoughts xxx. Am I on the right track?
OP,
PM me with all your questions from all your homework and your instructor's email. Once I get their approval for me to do all your homework, I will send you my paypal account for your payment. That way you don't have to deal with other members making you show your work before they help you and you are free to spend your time on other things other than actually doing your homework.

This exact question was posted on here back in 2014...the OP in that instance didn't give his/her thoughts either, but once someone asked for the OPs thoughts, the OP provided them and received additional feedback - as he/she should! People always take such offense when they post their question without any of their thoughts and then posters reply saying they won't do their homework for them! Unfortunately, it happens too often (seems like it little more than usual lately for some reason though)!
