525U/x(ml) = 750U/1(ml)
750x = 525
x = 0.7
for the other 1 tsp = 5ml Ill let you go from there

Perhaps check out a book on medication calculations. It will put things in simple terms and you will feel more confident.

I worry about anyone who (a) asks for homework problem solving online, or (b) (godforbid) asks for real-life med administration advice online.

Or maybe someone is just asking for help because they don't understand the problem???? There is no one person who knows answers to everything which is why we ask others for help. I think that finding a book on medication calculations would be a good idea. Or even search the web for online calculations.
Asking for answers to the questions is quite different from asking for help in solving the equations.
OP asked for answers to the med calculations.
Oh....my bad. I guess I misread that part. I apologize.......Asking for how to solve the problem and asking for the actual answers are two different things.

My nursing judgement is that you need to do your own homework and ask your classmates for help. if anything at least post for help in the STUDENT section.

Exactly what I was thinking, yes ask questions but you need to ask the right person. Either A. another nurse on the floor with you or B. your instructor. If their is was really a nurse asking questions on here prior to administration :eek: and utilizing this information in that days work, I think I would be tempted to kick them!

you will get better responses if you post these kinds of questions on the nursing student assistance forum (click the students tab above to get to this forum). you will find tutorials on how to work medication math problems on post #2 of this sticky thread: https://allnurses.com/general-nursing-student/nursing-math-thread-264395.html - the nursing math thread
