NCLEX RN

Hey guys!!

I just took the NCLEX RN Saturday. OMG it was the hardest test ever (my opinion). I was not confident after I left the testing site. I had ALL 145 questions and that survey thing at the end. ? I felt like crying. The past 2 days I have been stressed. I did the PVT trick and got the good pop up. I was still nervous. Well 48 hours has passed and I finally checked my quick results. I PASSED!! OMG that was a huge relief!!

Info: I finished school May 7. I started using UWorld that day. I did 75 questions a day. I did practice questions for 3 weeks on and off and took my test May 29.

I agree with you on how hard the test was. It was the hardest test I have ever taken and there was a lot of things on there I didn't learn about in LPN or RN school.

The NCLEX PN was easy to me. (I took in 2019 and passed first try)

The NCLEX RN was so hard! (I took May 29 2021 and passed first try)

BUT-that exam made me feel like I knew nothing, and it is really bothering me. I did the PVT and got the good pop up (three times), had 75 questions, but...this is the thing. If I passed only being confident of 5 of my answers-how can anyone fail?

This may not help, and if you passed, you passed, but keep in mind that this exam is only for the purpose of  identifying people who can’t meet the minimal standard for new nurse practice. Believe me, people do fail, LOL.
If you still feel as if you don’t know everything that’s actually an excellent basis for beginning practice. Keep asking questions and plan to make this the beginning of your next phase: life-long learning.
Congratulations!

Still waiting for mine. I took my exam on Mon at 215, no results available yet. 75 questions, got good pop up for PVT trick. I still don’t trust that trick, that exam was so wacky. I feel like there was no way I could pass it ?

I had high honors, 97 percent predictors on ATI and extremely high chance of passing with u world, so I felt good going into it.
I feel sick now,  watching the clock tick away

is it 48 hours to when you complete the exam or when you started it?

I think you passes, so I will say congrats ahead of time!! ?

You were right, thanks so much!  This exam really confuses me.  I wish we could see how well we did on the exam. BUT-I've been doing a happy dance for the last 24 hours excited that I passed!  Thanks for having faith in me :-)

@wcholla

I passed!  I kept looking at the BON for my name, but it didn't appear before my results were in!

So relieved!

@mswink

Yeah!! Congratulations, I know that feeling (thank goodness)!! All the best!
