Need help in finding questions that are challenging. Sometimes Saunders are too easy. Could anyone tell me how they used Saunders to study??? Am interested in Uworld. Looking at the 3mth package??? Any input/suggestions will be appreciated. TIA

Hello, many people would recommend purchasing UWORLD. I recommend it too! I bought the 3month package because I wanted the 2 self assessments. It really depends on you and how you plan on utilizing UWORLD. I only used UWORLD for about a month before my exam. Didn't need the full 3 months, but again I just wanted the 2 self assessments. Many of my friends bought the 2months package and just used it the month before their exam.

I would recommend uworld, 2 month package is enough if you plan your study time well. Use the Saunders in improving your weak systems, you don't have to read the whole book, just too much information, some are not necessary.
Just read a specific chapter in saunder's if you have free time. I would recommend reading the Acid Base, Electrolytes, Cardiac, Endocrine, Respiratory and Fundamentals.

I would also recommend UWorld (this is all i used), i think the 3 month package is enough with the 2 self-assessments. Know your lab values well and prioritization. Good luck!

I started with Saunders for a brush up, and then switch to UWorld about a month before taking the test. Honestly I felt like the Saunders book was a bit of a waste and wish I would've gone straight to UWorld - the rationales are wonderful and the questions are almost identical to the ones on the NCLEX.

Uworld with Mosby as your clarification book. That's all I have used.

uWorld is A+! It was the only study guide I used plus some of the notes that I took while I was still in Nursing school.
I've also made this article earlier and I hope this helps! There's a section about my experience with uWorld.
