I understand your fears about Visa, unfortunately I have to tell you my experience, I also was sitted to NCLEX 2 years ago, but my Visa petition to USA was refused, and all was lost, now that there are other countries where I can take NCLEX Ive started again, so my advice is to make every possible effort to get Visa approval, show you have lot of money, a job in your country that you have no intention to leave, you are just going as tourist, no comment about exam at all, you have no intention to stay in Germany illegal

I dont know if it is different but in Southamerica if an Embassy denies you a Visa petition, it is very difficult (impossible) that you obtain visa in at least next two years

if you have passed NCLEX and have a job offer in the US I can't imagine you will have a problem gaining a visa in your own country. If you pass NCLEX and don't get the visa then nothing happens except if you plan to try at a later date then keep the US licence up to date

Thank you all for answering very much.

I know a girl from Ukraine who told me there was a group of them and they went to take NCLEX in UK.The representative of their preparation organization went to embassy and explain all about the exam and finally the girl and the group got visas.I think it's only for the US visa we shouldn't tell anything about NCLEX.But for other countries i think we should.I'm unmarried and don't have much money on my acount.So.i've decided to prepare all my documents for NCLEX even copy of CGFNS certificate and bring them to Germany embassy.I'll probably get ATT in 2 weeks.So,we'll see what will happen then.

I guess you are right about saying about the exam, it is very different in each country Embassy, but when I applied there were only USA to take NCLEX, anyway bring all your documents which support that you are in the road to America and no desire of going to any other country

Hello ! I'm from Romania and took CGFNS in Frankfurt twice , in November 2004 (failed) and July 2005 ( passed ) . In July there wewre two nurses from Belarus there but I can't tell you anything about their visas . However , you may want to try to take sit the exam in UK if you do not get a visa for Germany . If your ATT expires you'll most probably have to pay again for NCLEX registration .

i think am facing the smae fears right now.i dont buy the idea of not mentioning exam,since you have your ATT and appointment information,its better u tell them the truth,what i dont understand is why the would give visa to someone going for vacation and deny the person going for exam,its absurd.I would be going for visa any moment from now to write my nclex in puerto Rico which is closest to where am staying,what ever that comes out of it,i will take it as the will of God.what would be would be!!! So go with your exam documents and trust God.

Hello,

I applied to german embassy to take NCLEX in Frankfurt and in the embassy I was told they don’t accept ATT without seal and signature and they don’t understand why I put in information about the test center by myself on the last page. Also the embassy worker said the invitation to the exam should have the purpose of the trip, I should provide embassy with confirmation of legal status of the testing center in Germany and it’s financial status. I was in shock and other day (last Friday) I wrote a big letter to german council. Also I call Pearson to ask whether they can send me invitation with a seal and signature and they said they sent only one type of confirmation and I’m the only one who has problems with that. Did anyone of you applied to German embassy to sit for the NCLEX and what was your experience?

Hello,I didnt apply to german embassy,but US embassy and i was bluntly refused a visa,i went with all my documents showing i was actually going for an exam,i even showed the hotel reservation recipt i made,job letter bla bla bla,i was not given a visa,reason was not given to me.

i called pearson vue and they were able to do nothing,i was really fraustrated considering the stress and money i have put in going for that visa and all the phone calls.everything was in vain.i cried but that didnt help me,so i called and made another appontment and paid pearson another fee to schedule for the exam in uk.

My advise is check out other centers and the possibility of getting visa to those places and consider making an appointment fast b4 ur ATT expires.And also pray that they give u,like someone said here ,they decide whom to give and whom not to give.unfortunately we fell in the category of pple the refused to give:lol2: ,u cant question them.remember u have to do this fast so it wont disturb ur studies,cos it would be more fraustrating if in the end one doesnt make it after all these stress.consider uk.i think they would give u visa.pray for me too please cos this whole thing is really getting to me,but by God's grace we will scale thru.

Actually, embassy didn't refuse to give me a visa.They just said to bring me more paper listed above.

Well whatever the case,the earlier the better.since they want a sealed document sent to them,and pearson vue is telling u there is nothing they can do,maybe you should contact your BON and explain to them,maybe they could fax a letter or even mail it to the embassy.It would have been best if pearson vue would agree to help u.My only concern is your ATT validity period.If it expires u will have to start again to register for nclex.Since UK doesnt question the hand written date on the ATT,i feel its better you try them and save yourself the stress.i would be writing the exam on 6thfeb,my ATT expires 7th,the first appointment i made was 15th

jan but i wasnt able to get the visa like i said,by the time i tried to make another appointment,i was told the dates were all filled up,i was lucky to get a date b4 7th.Delay is dangerous please.
