NCLEX attempted 2nd time

I just got home from taking the NCLEX for the 2nd time. I really thought I was prepared and knew the material, but now I'm not so sure. I had 265 questions. I thought for sure the test would shut off at 75 because I assumed I was doing well enough to pass at 75. Guess not :(

I will find out the results in a couple of days. I really think I failed and I'm so bummed out.

I had tons and tons of priority questions, is that a good thing? And is that considered easy or hard questions if anything at all?

I had NO math. Which is weird and nerve racking! And only 2 or 3 select all the apply. Also weird, esp since I had 265. I'm freaking out! I thought SATA questions were the harder ones, but I didn't get many, does that mean I did poorly? If I did poorly, why did it go all the way up to 265 instead of stopping sooner? Some of my friends got like 160 or 200 and then their test stopped (unfortunately they failed). I can't take this test a 3rd time. I gave this test my all and I'm so burnt out from studying. It took me months to get back into study mode again, and that was tough staying focused. I don't know if I could focus a 3rd time, I'm so burnt out. :bluecry1:

Priority type questions are what you want to see.

SATA questions are only a format and do not determine level of the question.

Math questions are normally considered at a lower level.

Odds are in your favor that you passed with what you posted here, but there is absolutely no way to second guess the results.

Best of luck to you. And please keep us posted when you do get your results.

Don't try second guessing as the exam is so hard to predict, Hang in for your results and Good luck

Thanks for the advice. I got so many pharmacology questions, and had no clue how to answer most of them. I'm terrified I failed simply because of the pharmacology.

Also, is it really true that if you miss the last question and it was a difficult one, you fail? Or that if you get the last question right, and it was difficult, you pass? My last question was a psych question and I'm pretty sure I got it right, but it's hard to believe that the last question will determine the outcome to the whole test.

Never mind about the last questions being right or wrong. I researched other threads, and read your response Suzanne to a similar question. Good to know it doesn't count. But now I kind of wish it did since I think I got it right haha
