NCC nursing program

Has anyone been accepted to Ncc's nursing program. If so, how hard is it, and are you able to work while in the program?

I just can't! ! Lol

Congrats BeccA!! Girls, it really is a pattern with day applicants getting their letters. It has to be the reason why we haven't got anything yet.

I got accepted !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congratulations Becca!!

I forgot, did you apply for days?

Lol intro to sociology is a co req, and I was going to apply to NYU and LIU and I think they both wanted nutrition, but the prices made me change my mind so here I am taking a class, barely paying attention in it and it doesn't even transfer! But I pay school out of pocket so I don't want to waste my money lol I can still pull a 3.8 hopefully.

Oh okay, I always forget the 202, I took that last semester. I if I get in I'll have everything done besides the nursing classes so I'll try to take classes that will go toward a bs. My dream goal in Columbia, they have a great midwifery program. I totally understand the out of pocket deal. I'm sure you'll be able to maintain a 3.8!!!

Also you wrote 201 and I read 202 oops

I think you are right, didn't one of you mention they sent some out Wednesday AND Thursday? So who's calling first thing Monday morning

I'm going to give it till Wednesday. That should give enough time if they did send it out. Just hope I'm still sane by then lol

Thank you !!! And yeah I applied for day. I don't think you guys have anything to worry about … my gpa is a 3.09 so far lol out of all my classes taken.. I just need medical micro but I'm going to take that next summer.

Thanks, how exhausting is this? Did you apply for day or night? I applied for night.

I applied for day. So yeah, I think practically everyone that got their letters so far applied for day. Wish they just sent emails to everyone. I'm sure you'll be fine, hopefully tomorrow is the day!

I'm curious to know more about the Farmingdale accelerated articulation. Does anyone know anything about it besides what's on the website (hoping some current students see this)? I'm wondering how "accelerated" it is, like, how long does it take from start to finish. Only thing is that if selected you have to take the NLN PAX, and I don't feel like taking another one of those tests...

I believe they let you know more information on the scheduled date you have to head to the nursing department. I know that wasn't what you wanted to know but I'm assuming. If you don't go through the accelerated program what were you thinking about doing? If I get in (fingers crossed) I would do the two year then apply for rn to bs programs
