Jan 4, 201412 yr Has anyone been accepted to Ncc's nursing program. If so, how hard is it, and are you able to work while in the program?
Apr 26, 201412 yr Hi there!I just recieved my acceptance letter in the mail this morning. I got abit worried because everyone seemed to get there letters yesterday (so if you're waiting still, there's still hope). My GPA for my prereqs was 3.46AHS 131 - BStatistics - BComp 1 - AGeneral Psy. - AI recieved a 73 on the Teas exam (Proficient)I was worried because my grades were not as high as the other people on this site but, I worked really hard and was able to get in. Good Luck to everyone and see some of you in class !
Apr 26, 201412 yr I didn't mention my info earlier but I got a 4.0 for all pre reqs & 4.0 with co reqs but currently taking micro with a B so far. I got a 67 on the TEAS which I was so disappointed with but the nursing dept said it was really good. My overall GPA of all classes is 3.9. I've worked my butt off for this so I guess that's why this wait is driving me nuts lol.
Apr 26, 201412 yr They aren't looking at to co req. I'm pretty sure I drilled them about what they look at. Don't freak me out y'all. I'm taking ap132 now and micro and psy 216 this summer.
Apr 26, 201412 yr I'm taking AHS132 and SOC 201 as well as NTR198 this semester...averaging an A in both AHS132 and SOC 201 but a B in NTR 198, which i found out isn't accepted anywhere else. so buh bye to my 4.0 oh well. lol
Apr 26, 201412 yr I wish I knew their points system. I should have attended a nursing session☺️. That's great if they don't look at co-reqs for acceptance.
Apr 26, 201412 yr I'm taking AHS132 and SOC 202 as well as NTR198 this semester...averaging an A in both AHS132 and SOC 202 but a B in NTR 198, which i found out isn't accepted anywhere else. so buh bye to my 4.0 oh well. lolWhat class is soc 202? And I didn't think we needed a ntr 198, is that for something else?? Explain this all to me lol
Apr 26, 201412 yr Lol intro to sociology is a co req, and I was going to apply to NYU and LIU and I think they both wanted nutrition, but the prices made me change my mind so here I am taking a class, barely paying attention in it and it doesn't even transfer! But I pay school out of pocket so I don't want to waste my money lol I can still pull a 3.8 hopefully.
