There are several hospitals in Tulsa. All need help badly. St Francis and St John's are nonprofit . Southcrest and Hillcrest are for-profit faclilties. In addititon there are about 3 or so LTACs { long term acute care }. I used to work at Hillcrest specialty : one of the LTACs } and they are offering a $7000 sign on bonus. Depending on who you ask, all are good/bad places to work. Does that help any at all? Incidentally, the LTAC I worked for had it's own little ICU and I believe the others do as well.
What Hospitals Are Teaching Institutions In The Tulsa Are?
I forgot one hospital and the one you'll want to hear about. There is OSUMC { Oklahoma State University Medical Center } . It is the one where OSU medical students are sent to learn. It is the only teaching hospital. The others have nursing students for clinicals....different schools go to different hospitals. They need nurses and have ads in the paper every Sunday. If you want to live outside of Tulsa there are small hospitals in the outlaying areas as well.

OU has their reidents out of St John mainly. Thier OB is out of Hillcrest. Peds residents also round out of St. Francis.
All of the ERs in town are in desperate need.
