Is there some sort of game we can play to occupy/distract ourselves?

I'm leaving Oakland right now to go to class in San Francisco so that'll buy me 45 minutes of peace from staring at and refreshing my various screens

Couldn't sit there and wait like a normal person - so I contacted XX about the status .

The response was the following: "I am working on them right now. You will receive an email from the Graduate Division notifying you that your application status has changed and that you can log in to view it."

Not sure what XX meant by "working on them right now", but it seems like today is feasible :) fingers crossed

If my fingers get any more crossed, I'll sprain something!

May I ask what time you posted this? It being 4:30, seems like we might not hear until tomorrow.

For the interviews, I received the email at 4:52 PM. Once it gets to that time, I will resume the waiting game tomorrow.

my brain refuses to believe that 108 people have been waiting for one person to sign off on this for several days now

I dunno, if he said he's working on them now, then that would suggest that he got the approval from that person. Did I just imagine it, or didn't I read somewhere on here that one group of applicants received notice at 8 or 9 at night? I've still got some hope that today's the day
