  1. Besides praying and pulling my hair out, I'm applying to jobs up and down my state every single day. Next week I plan to volunteer to maintain my sanity. I never thought that having an RN liscense I would be unemployed.
  2. PVT worked for me...in my state we don't have quick results, so I had to wait for my name to be posted on the BRN. I checked the BRN and there I was.
  3. Relax before your test , make sure you say a prayer and claim the victory as you walk through the door of the testing center (that's what I did),.... as they seat you to start your test.. and especially when the questions seems to be confusing ...What I did was I took the break that they asked if u wanna take after 2 hrs, went to the bathroom got on my knees, said my prayer. walked back down the long hall back to test put my hand to open the door and claimed it as I turned the door knob...sat back did 2 more questions the computer shut off...went home, I waited a few hours did the PVT n got the good pop-up. . My prayer will be with u...be sure to keep me posted :redpinkhe
  4. Sad to say but, it was a little of everything...I had 15-20 sata, 1 math question, know your delagation and prioritazation those are a must.
  5. I took Kaplan and my readiness score was 61% and I passed NCLEX my first try with 75q's. I thought Kaplan questions were harder than the NCLEX. I took my test when I got to the point that my brain couldn't contain anymore information. I was confident in the fact that I know what I know, then just went for it. I did have a study partner and we both passed. As we took our daily walks we would just quiz each other about random stuff...I guess it worked. Good Luck to you!
  6. Thank You.. You will do just fine...thats how I felt before I decided to take my test. I felt like my brain couldn't hold anymore information, I was sick and tired of studying so I decided to just go by faith and go for it. They always say you will never feel 100% ready, but when you get to the point ur brain can't contain anymore info..go for it. While I'm praying about my success tonight, i will be sure to send my request for u to have the same testimony. Good Luck
  7. ok... afters hours of comtemplating I finally did the PVT.....and....I GOT THE GOOD POP UP....YAY...TGBTG!!!! I prayed and prayed...once I had gotten to my 2 hours and it asked you if you wanna take a break, I took it. I went to the bathroom (it was extemely clean) got on my knees and prayed. handled my business and walked the long hallway pack to the testing center claiming the victory in Jesus name. I sat back down to continue testing and did 2 more questions that put me to 75 and the computer shut off. I looked around like this can't be for real, because I felt that the questions were to easy for me to had passed. I walked out of there still praising the Lord and got with a friend of mine (recent grad) and had a job interview by the end of the day.
  8. I'm to scared to do the PVT yet. How did you feel the questions were? did u feel they wasn't so bad? that's how I felt. What type of questions did you get??
  9. Thanks to everyone for your prayers. I am such a reck I can't seem to stop my head from pounding...I had 75 questions not sure if its a good thing of bad thing:o. It took me a little over 2 hrs to complete. through out the test I REFUSED to look at the clock of the number of question I was on. I had one math question some psych, about 2 OB, about 15-20 sata, the rest was a mixture of delegation and prioritization. about 5-10 meds, which is my weakest area. I'm so nervouse because I felt that it was hard but not as hard as I have heard. To me it felt like Kaplan quesions was much harder. I'm not sure if that is a good sign our a bad sign. I know that just because I got 75 questions don't mean that I passed. So now the thought is going through my head that maybe it wasn't as hard as I've heard because I wasn't in the higher tier of questioning:confused:. I'm too nervous to do the PVT yet.
  10. Well, today is the day...thansk to all those who have helped and encouraged me my posting your experiences. Good look to all the individuals that are testing. Say a prayer for me...See you after the test:smokin:
  11. Good luck to all, :heartbeat. I test tomorrow at 8am...i know it is advised not study before the day of your test, but I can't help it. Today I plan to study for at least 5 hours today:uhoh3:. I sent prayers up for all who posted, please come back and let me know how things turn out.
  12. I test on Thursday for the Nclex-RN . I've been studing with, Kaplan, Lacharity and Saunders. I just wanted to see who else will be stressed along with me this week. Whoever you are, I pray that this week will be filled with success. We CAN/WILL PASS. Good Luck to All...I'll keep ya posted.
