I am going crazy studying for the TEAS, I am studying mainly from the ATI book and the two practice tests online, but I was looking for more practice tests because I think I learn more by practicing. I was looking online and saw that the "Kaplan Nursing School Entrance Exams:Your Complete Guide to Getting into Nursing School" is good, does anyone here have used it and can tell me how good it is??? and I also found a software on "national nurse testing" http://www.nursingexamschool.com/Free%20Sample%20TEAS%20Questions.html apparently it has a bunch of test questions and it has a 100% test pass money guarantee, has anyone hear of it before? If yes how good is it????

* I am completely open to any other advice to help me prepare for the TEAS!!!!

It sounds to me like you are on the right track. I don't know about any other books besides ATI, but I don't think it could hurt to use others. If they have things in there that are not covered in the ATI manual I wouldn't spend time on them because they will not be on the test. Really everything on the test is covered in the manual. But I absolutely understand wanting other books for more practice questions, I am the same way and I really wish I had gotten more grammar problems to practice. I learn really well by doing things over and over, as well as having things presented to me in multiple ways such as verbally and visually at the same time... Like I said though, it sounds to me like you are doing everything right! =) I wish you the best of luck! When are you taking the test?

Thank you very much for answering. I just want to practice the stuff I am studying so I know what to expect on the test. I am planning to take the test around April 15 since the deadline to apply is may 1st!!! :-D

Hey guys I put on a thread without realizing there was one similar to mine. Any of you took the Teas 5 again? Because I dont know if it is a tets with completely different questions from the first one.

I am not retaking it myself, but I have talked to people who have retaken it and they have said that you get the exact same test with the exact same questions. =) so that is really nice

OMG that would be good!!, I ask because I know the day I went they were asking if there were people retaking to raise their hands to give u a different code, so I though it wouldnt make sense to have a different code for the assessment with the same questions

hmm...maybe the code just puts in that it is your second attempt...really not sure. But I am pretty sure about it being the same test =) are you applying for this fall?

Yes I am, but I didnt want MDC to be my only option, but is the cheapest and I dont want to have a big debt after getting out of school

do you mind sharing your TEAS score and gpa for us nosy (me) people on here who are trying to figure out where we stand? =)
