Math for Meds by Curren is excellent; easy to follow and gives great step-by-step instructions. I've used it since I started nursing school in 2008.

Thank you for the info. :)

We use a book called Calculations of drug doses by, Janney and Flahve it walks you through step by step and has pictures of actual labels and vials. very basic, and a little out dated but VERY easy to understand.

I have to second Math for Meds by Curren. Great dosage calc book.

Calculate with Confidence by Deborah Gray Morris is excellent, it shows the problems in several different formats.

Our school is using the calculate with confidence as emtoh17 stated and I had picked up medical dosing made incredibly easy for practice. Program hasn't started yet that is why I could run through some practice. I am sure once I start I will be doing what is required and that will be plenty. My opinion is all of them are probably great to just get the practice.

I 3rd Med Math by Curren, I owe my A to that book! I loved it and was terrified of the math!

Oh, I also used something like "stressed over nursing math" that book was also a great extra resource.
