I'm a new grad looking for a job and I thought it would be a good idea to also look into malpractice insurance.
What insurance companies do you get your malpractice insurance through and what do you pay in premiums?
Do you guys have any good suggestions on companies to look into?
thanks!

The two I hear of most are NSO and Proliability. I pay just over $100/year for NSO.

I have NSO and paid half price for the first year ($50) as a new grad.

NSO, about $107/year, it's cheaper than dirt compared to what it can do for you. I highly highly HIGHLY suggest getting it! If any doubts linger, please search nursing insurance to see why you need your own coverage.

I have NSO, have for 4 years and pay a little over 100 a year. You get a discount for a new grad.
thanks for all the replies everyone! I'm seriously so happy to find out malpractice insurance is so cheap! I was expecting $100 a MONTH. Even if it was that expensive, I would still pay it for peace of mind. I'll definitely be looking into a policy once I get my first nursing job!
