I am soo stressed! Working in an LTC facility as a newbie nurse. 37 patients. 10 accuchecks, standing orders, vs, med preferences, treatments, charting! I hardly ever leave on time! Ahhhh!!
I'm mentally, physically, emotionally stressed out. Does it get better?!?

When you are new, it all seems horrible, very stressful and icky!! Give yourself time to get a routine.... it WILL get better!!!!

Everyone will tell ya it'll get better.
But, to be real, the LTC gig is incredibly tough... and with lots of ripe opportunities for errors.
Please be careful.

I think it only gets better when you quit because you found a better job. My SNF is like this too, so I sympathize with you.
