Lost stethoscopes

I am a frustrated RN. I work in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. I have lost 2(two) expensive stethoscopes within a year. My first was a Littmann Master Cardiology stethoscope. This stethoscope was a birthday present from my wife. It was lost about 1 year ago. The second, a Littmann Cardiology IV, was brand new. I had only used it on 2 patients. Both were engraved Moses K Thiga & Moses Kuria Thiga respectively on the tube and head. Please be on the look out. Thank you.

Probably a doctor has it.

I would put a chain on it and wear the chain like a necklace and if someone wants to borrow it, oh, so sorry, I can't undo this chain, left the key at home. :sneaky:

Nothing that elaborate is needed. Just say no. There's always some other nurse in the crowd who will whip out the stethoscope and offer it.

Dont get expensive ones they get lost all the time, I had one for a while and a Dr. stole it, I found his and held is ransom until he gave it back and we swapped each others scopes. I reccomend getting a cheap one.
