Lifespan 2 practice tests

Took the second practice test, got a 67%. Hoping to do better. Anyone willing to share your scores and then how you did on the actual test?

I've done worse on some previous tests practice then got a B on the actual test, but this one has me worried!!

Crudler, you recently posted on the same topic, hoping to see if anyone will compare practice scores to actual scores!!;)

My exam is scheduled for Saturday afternoon, so I have a little bit of time to pull it together

thanks!

What is the title of the Saunders book ? I keep seeing it brought up. Thanks.

Hey guys! I used the Sunders LPN book religiously through Nursing school and it definitely payed off. I bought the RN Version (I bought it used off amazon for 13 bucks but it is brand new, previous edition since the material is all the same) and I have been using it for all my exams. To be honest I am not even doing all the assigned readings cause I find anything in this book and usually it is right spot on on what you need to focus on learning about that disease process. If there is something very specific most of the times I google some stuff. I passed LS2 with a B. Now I am taking LS3 this tuesday. Certainly helps you get ready for the NCLEX as well. I am looking forward to finishing this program. I started January 2012, this book has certainly expedite my studying. Study group 101 notes are a nice complement to read over too. I am sure some people are saying i am "cookbook studying", I believe in studying efficiently. The title of the book is Saunders Comprehensive review for the Nclex-RN. Good luck and I hope this info helps :)

Thanks LadyBug !! I just ordered it off Amazon for 8.00, with shipping. Looks like another great peice of advice !! Thank you so much and good luck with your final test, that is GREAT to be that far !!!! :clown:

You are welcome! I will let you guys how it goes tomorrow, keep your fingers crossed and some prayers always help!

Good luck and praying for success! I also ordered the saunders NCLEX-RN on my kindle fire. Great way to review while lying in bed with the little ones!

Congrats!!!!

I got a 60% on first practice exam and 65% on second exam. Got a B on the test so I would say the results are slightly off. I am glad that I took it though because I was very worried about the actual test and think that it definitely helped.

I take the test next Fri. How was it?

Got my Saunders a few days ago, I LOVE IT !! Thanks LadybuG !! I really like the way it just gets to the point, but with enough info.

Hi,

Congrats to all on passing. What have you guys used besides the practice exams and their rationales to pass? Just the Saunders book? Or some other material?

Thanks!

Has anyone taken the LifeSpan 2 course instead of the exam? or any of the lifespan courses? I wonder how they compare to the exams? I failed Lifespan 1 and think I will take a course instead. Any info would be most appreciated!
