Do most LPN programs require you to have some kind of Liability Insurance? The reason I am asking is because The prince William School of practical nursing says you must have your own liability coverage. Is the liability insurance expensive?I am seriously thinking about applying if I'm not already too late for the deadline and that would be one of the drawbacks for me since I am not working at the moment. ECPI college I believe has insurance for all of it's LPN students already. I am begining to wonder if maybe I should just stay at ECPI for that reason alone.

hello, amber,
normally, Liability Insurance is rather inexpensive for the student.
check here online at nso: www.nso.com
you can get free quotes immediately. in my state, quotes for the pn student are $29/year.

I think our school had Insurance for us, but when I graduated went w/ NSO. Still have them nearly 20 years later. They are worth it.

I just took a look at the website and it said only $29 a year. That really isnt bad at all. Thanks.
