Hello,

I'm just wondering is there anyone who got kicked out of a nursing program and was able to re-apply the following year and got in?

I know a few people that got back in and completed the program succesfully. Sadly I also know several that applied but didn't get accepted. Check with your school to see exactly what the criteria is for re-admit and to find out if there is anything you need to do to increase your chances of getting a spot. Good luck.

I am starting BSN program in the fall, what do people get kicked out for? Is it grades or are there other worries?

Thank you

Theres a list of things you could get kicked out for, browse around the board and you will get an idea. Dont let this discourage or worry you, just do what youre asked, dont cut corners, and you should be ok. Everyone that got kicked out, didnt get kicked out because they did the right thing. Know what im trying to say? Basically DONT tie someones IV line to the bed post ..LOL you'll be ok.

Our school had a policy of retaking one failed nursing course. If the student fails one more course, they are out, no exceptions. I've seen it. They can apply and get in to another school though depending on where they're at in the program.
