Kaplan

Hi Everyone! I seem to be stuck in the mode of high 50s to 60s when taking my quizzes and exams through Kaplan! I can't seem to every hit a 70! Any suggestions, comments?! I feel like I will never be ready to take my NCLEX. Thanks for your thoughts and feedback.

By-the-way, I have contacted them, and they say I am on the right track, but I'd like to hear from the experience of those that have used Kaplan and any success stories, etc.

Thanks so much!

Alexandra

Concentrate on learning the material instead of predictor test scores.

I never got a 70% on Kaplan, I got 50's and 60's just like you! and guess what...I passed! So don't worry as long as you know the content and understand the rationals...I believe you will pass.

Absolutely! I am doing that as well. I think I am hung up on their emphasis of test scores to pass NCLEX, which is what they seem to stress. Including those like ATI, which is what I had during my program. I am reading up on content as well. I think content emphasis is more important.

Thank you for your input.

I took Kaplan and I passed the NCLEX the first time with 75?. I was worried about my scores as well I have scored as low as 42% in the qbank and maybe 3 or 4 times in the 70. It is really not not scores but you are suppose to practice strategies because that is what you need to pass the test and of couse reading the rationals. In time you will get better.

~ 60 good to go

~ 40-50 ... go back to the books
