I just graduated for Ivy Tech Community College of Indianapolis (Indiana) and I am waiting for my ATT any day now. In our program we used ATI, but I have a friend that just introduced me to Saunders, and I love it! I have the 4th Ed with the CD rOM and it is super helpful for studying on the go. I just take my computer and go through questions throughout the day. I have been averaging about 500+ questions a week. I'm not familiar with Kaplan, so I cant tell you how it compares....Goo Luck!

i've done both- saunders questions are more basic recall questions, where as the kaplan questions are most similar to the nclex, they are mostly all application and analysis questions. i think kaplan better prepares you as they are the type of questions you will see on the nclex.

Agree. I was getting 80-90 percent on the tests on saunders and then started taking Kaplan and started getting in the 60s. I have heard that Kaplan is the closest thing to the NCLEX as far as questions. The NCLEX is not an exam of recall, its a exam of safety and priority. I would highly suggest kaplan.

Saunders

Ive been told both and add LaCharity.

I've heard great things about Kaplan but it is too expensive for me. I am using Saunders Review, LaCharity, Kaplan strategies book, and NCSBN online. I agree that a lot of the Saunders questions are recall, which is why I am using other sources as well.

One more tip, if money is tight, check out your local library. Mine has a number of NCLEX resources.

I started off with saunders now I'm switching to Kaplan. I agree with everyone Saunders questions are a lot easier than ati and kaplan
