:o Oh my Gosh, has any one else been through this?
I am am a high honors student, I always know if I did well or not on a test, and I took my boards on Tuesday, and I swear to God, I did not know if I did okay or if I bombed. The test shut off on 75-76 questions, and I have never been through such an emotional roller coaster in my life. (I am 39, not exactly a little girl, either.)
So, my question is, did anyone else go through this?
i did pass, so I shouldnt be complaining, but I have a lot of friends in my program waiting to take their boards, and any input would be appreciated.
BUT...........................
The bottom line is I MADE IT!!
I am a nurse.
Can I sign all my checks with RN at the end? Or would that just be tacky?
tee hee.
Love this website.

Congrats, RN!!! It's such a great feeling to be done!
I, too, am a high honors student, but that test really made me doubt myself. I think that no one feels good after leaving that test. So you are not alone...

I graduated with high honors too and I hope that I pass NCLEX! I am getting soooo scared. I never ever have had test anxiety before and this is really freaking me out!!!!!!! Congratulations on your success, you'll have to change your user name KristyBRN2B!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am usually a great test taker too, and also felt very shaky and unsure when the computer shut off at 75. Congratulations on your pass!

I felt the same way. I have never before walked out of a test not knowing how well (or poorly) I performed. I just kept saying to myself for 2 days I have straight A's, I studied well, I haven't failed a test yet that I studied for.
BTW, CONGRATS!!!

Wow! You guys get your results fast! Here in NJ its a minimum of 2 days.
I'm not going by the shutting off around 75 questions. I've been hearing that the NCLEX is starting to get it's first failures even shutting off at 75 questions, so it's no longer a reliable indicator that someone has passed.
