Thanks for the response. What I ended up doing was registering for ENG 308 @ university of Phoenix online. The course is 5weeks long. This way I won't have to do the 15 weeks at OU. I got the course evaluated and it transfers in. This is my last class along with nursing stats so I'm glad I will be wrapping up my academic BSN career mid feb.

rninme took the business communication class and got a 99.98%. It is the Jr comp class. I got a 97% in the class and didn't even do the final project. Both sections fill quickly and I found the class to be very easy. It is only offered in 15 week formats so just drags on and on, but very doable with a nursing class.

Miami University offers ENG 313 in a sprint format. I believe it is offered every semester. It was 8 weeks long. An assignment only 6 weeks. No BB no tests. The biggest assignment due the last week was a resume and cover letter and you get 2 weeks to do that . I got an A+ .Most useful AND easiest college class I have ever taken and I have been taking classes for this program at 5 different universities .I recommend professor Ana Madani. Very easy to communicate with. I was able to put in to practice immediately what I learned in this class. Wish I had taken it first.
I enjoyed it so much I am taking a hybrid grant writing class Winter Intersession for those "free electives" I need to meed the credit hours that I will be lacking when I finish my nursing classes this Spring. Yeah who is going to graduate with me in 2014???

Agberei Come back and let us know how this class went. I am interested in a shorter version, hate the 15 week format.

Ok guys so I just finished my junior comp course (eng 308). At university of Phoenix online, and that class is RIGOROUS. We have to complete a 4 page paper weekly along with 8 responses weekly. The teacher grades hard (in my opinion). I am not good with writing to begin with but having a teacher that picks on every grammatical issue did not help either. Come to find out in my last week the school provides you with an online software that edits you paper for you. The upside is that you are done in 5wks as compared to 8. But the class is definitely writing intensive.

It has to be from a 4 year university - not a community college. Not a bad class at OU - I had a 99.98% in the class and didn't even bother to do the generous extra credit that the prof offered.
