I've been away for a week

  • Guides

Just catching up on some of the threads cause I have been away for a week. I have spent from the 1st to the 7th of July riding my motorcycle around the country for Breast Cancer. We covered over 3,000 miles in the worst weather but we made it.

It was called the lucky 7's challenge, we were 7 women and we visited 7 ports, 7 sentinal points, 7 bridges, 7 castles and finished on the 7th July.

It was exhausting and at the moment we have raised just over £4,000 for Breast Cancer Care.

If anyone wants to know more or wants to look at the account of the ride then PM me - there are photos too.

Anyway it's nice to be back and be warm and dry

I'm doing the "Pink Aerobics" at Regents Park in September but that pales into insignificance compared to what you have done!

Thats brilliant! Congrats. So, the knee held up then? Its fab you managed to do it considering you weren't even sure you would make it!!
