Is WGU Mac Friendly?

Hello, so I'm thinking about enrolling to WGU. I've heard and read great things about it on these forums. One question I can't seem to find is how well does it work with OS X in Mac? I have a Windows computer as well but it's not as enjoyable to use.

99% of stuff can be done on any platform, so you'd be able to use the mac for most everything. I think everything can be done in OS X, but if you have access to a windows computer I wouldn't worry about the small percentage of stuff that potentially can't.

I was trying to do my orientation yesterday on my 7 year old imac and a lot of the videos were not even showing. I tried it on my iphone 6s and the videos were working fine. I think i may need to buy a laptop. Windows maybe.

I'm only three classes in, but I have been using my Mac with no issues. My mentor did tell me to use the Firefox browser though.

Thanx I will download firefox and see if it works. [emoji106][emoji106]

I use a Mac and I have no issues.

Google Chrome and Google Drive will be your new best friends.

Just bought a new laptop (windows). Per WGU IT support, my imac (2009/2010) is too old. It was OSx 10.5.8. It won't let me download any of the latest browsers.

They recently made some major changes to the portal. Before that my PC worked better, since that my mac works better. Mine is newer though. You need chrome and firefox, they seem to be the most compatible.

I've had no issues using my older MacBook. Safari works fine as well as the other browsers

I'm thinking of buying a Chromebook. I'll be starting WGU's BSN program soon and I wonder if the Chromebook will be usable for the program. Any thoughts?
