  1. Once they had all the transcripts it was relatively quick for me. Maybe a week
  2. I applied to the post-masters FNP track for spring of 2018. Submitted my application about a month ago.
  3. So I have zero experience in informatics or anything related. I've just been a floor nurse for a few years but I am very interested in informatics. Would this be a problem?
  4. I have been working part time on a med/surg unit for two years now. I am interested in becoming an FNP. My father (who is an MD) thinks I need to work in an ICU or ER before applying because he thinks med/surg isn't enough (or right type?) experience. I am wondering if what he says is true and wondering where people have worked and how long and were still accepted into an FNP program. I am not really interested in working in either as I am happy with med/surg.
  5. I've had no issues using my older MacBook. Safari works fine as well as the other browsers
  6. Just started this class. Not really liking it so far.
  7. I am currently working towards my BSN to MSN Leadership at WGU. My plan is to do post masters FNP or DNP. I just started though. I've looked around this forum and seen others who have done it or who are currently doing it.
  8. Yeah they do need more. But hey I'm down to 106 [emoji106]🏻
  9. Submitted my first task last night (professional presence and influence). In the end I probably used the COS about half the time. I certainly didn't use it for everything. Now the waiting game. I was 315 in line
  10. My goal is speed too but I do want to learn something along the way. I'd like to be done in two terms but this first course (professional presence and influence) is giving me hell. So hopefully I can get it figured out soon. My ultimate goal would be two courses a month but not looking likely
  11. AtHomeNurse you do have some valid points. Better to get something out of it rather than nothing
  12. The articles in the COS make no sense to me. I can see why everyone says go straight to the task.
  13. When I applied they told me I may not get into February due to mentor shortages but I got lucky I guess
  14. Yeah I expect that mine will come back too the first time
  15. Have you heard back yet? I'm working away in my task right now. Did you write a paper or make a PowerPoint?
