Hi! I'm wondering if anyone works or has worked for Walgreens as a home infusion nurse? I'm considering applying for a per diem position. I'm curious to know how the company is to work for also how long the interview process is and what it entails. TIA!

I've seen it advertised where I live. They require/highly prefer very qualified, experienced, and certified applicants. Otherwise I would love a job like that!

Walgreens recently acquired another home infusion company, Critical Care Systems, and rebranded them. They employ few nurses- most of the patients they are pharmacy only for, at least in my neck of the woods.

Is this on California?.I work PD for Walgreens in California. The office I work for has very high nursing care standards and make certain their nurses have the training they need especially when new therapies are introduced.I can tell you more if needed.

Is PICC insertion certification required or does home health infusion therapy and PICC mgmt experience alone meet requirements?
