I am tiny and need help finding scrubs that will actually fit!

I start my first day of orientation for my first RN position tomorrow and my greys anatomy scrub pants are HUGE on me. I am going to have my sister attempt to alter them through the thighs and all the way down the leg tonight. (I'm not one to wait until the last minute but when I put my scrubs on with this cute white jacket I got the other day I realized I had forgotten how ridiculous I look in them! I look like a 4 year old who went through her dad's closet and dressed up in his clothes. So unprofessional looking.)

I have a pair of cherokee brand XXS scrub pants that I can wear as a back up in case she ruins my greys anatomy pants (haha..... :/ ). I would just wear the cherokee brand pants but the cherokee brand top that I have (also in XXS) is also HUUUUGE. I guess what I'm asking is if anyone knows of a brand of scrubs that actually fit really unusually tiny people. I'm 5'3 105lbs, I've just always been small. I just wore both sets of scrubs throughout school and sucked it up and felt frumpy the whole time. I do not plan on doing that for my entire nursing career. Helllllp!

yea..everyone of my classmates had scrubs that were too long and we rolled them up in hoping we would get a little taller before our 22nd birthday...except one of our buddy's used that sticky ironing strip and got her boyfriend's mom to iron the bottoms of the scrubs so they wouldn't drag in the snow.

Koi tops are nicely cut for small folks. I used to buy mine all the time in scrub outlets for ten and fifteen bucks a pop, and I wore Cherokee scrub pants from Wal-Mart. (I'm military now and have to wear their boring scrubs....I miss scrub shopping, it's very addictive!)

I bought pants by Urbane as well - they have no seams except for the one down the center of the leg and are actually very easy to alter; they also come in short sizes. I LOOOVVED my Urbane pants - they were so comfy!

TopSpot4U makes custom made scrubs, in any print or solid color. They can take apart an old pair of scrubs that fit you good and make a pattern from them.

Most brands consider nurses who are under 5'4'' to be petite. That said, you'll probably do well with the petites pieces. If I'm not mistaken all the major brands carry petite sizes. Good luck!

I'm really hoping you've found scrubs that fit, since it's been three years since your original post. So now I'M asking... what have you found?!? I'm 5'2" 112, long legs and a petite frame, but my bust is largish for my build. I purchased XXS scrubs by Cherokee petites and ButterSoft standard from the Uniform Advantage website, and the cut is actually very flattering, but I was still SWIMMING in them (except the petites pants were more like capris). I have ruled out petite sizes on pants, but there has got to be a brand that makes flattering scrubs for miniature people! Any luck out there??

The struggle is real. I feel for you....I am not tiny, but I am short....finding scrubs that are short but not tiny is also hard!

I'm also 5'2'' and 112 lbs. The only scrubs I wear are Grey's Atatomy junior fit in XS.

I'm 5'1 110lbs, I wear Grey's and Koi mostly. But I recently found this brand that feels just like Grey's but fits amazingly. It goes down to XXS and is so form fitting! It's called Sanibel. It was at my local scrub shop, but they are also online. m_565b599e2ba50a615f02bfb0.jpg

I wear wonder wink xxs and they fit great!!

I'm also small and have found Heart and Soul scrubs are the only brand that fit well without alterations. Good luck!

I didn't realize that scrubs came in XXS! I've been buying XS pants with drawstrings (no elastic bands) and hemming them myself for 4 years. I really don't worry about the legs of my pants being loose because I get the cargo pocket ones. I didn't have to hem my Dickies XS Petite pants, and I'm only 5'.

As far as tops, I look for ones that have a sash or tie on them; it tapers the shirt in without having to alter it.

I've had good luck with Peaches, but Cherokee and Landau are always so big on me. I bought a size S Landau top from a thrift store out of desperation--I needed another set of scrubs and had very little money to spare-- and I swear it would probably fit two of me at once!
