did I or didn't I?

Hello...I am normally a lurker..reading but not posting! But, I took boards on Wed (June 6) and have not had any results on my BON website. Pearson said I passed..so can I actually breathe a sigh of relief ..or since it's not official yet do I need to keep holding my breath? My friend from school had her passing results posted within 48 hrs on the BOM website. Any comments would be GREATLY appreciated!!!

I know how you feel...when I got my phone results from Pearson last year, I still didn't believe it, but from experience, I can safely say that you can breathe a sigh or relief.

Thanks for your reply! I found out today that it's official ( on the BON) Just wonder why it took a week rather than the "normal" 48 hrs? I still cannot believ that I passed....when I walked out from the test I was thinking "What in the world was that?" I know I passed, but I still think that there has to be a better way to determine competency for a new grad!

:balloons: great job banana!:balloons:

Of course, they should come up with a better method:uhoh3: . In time, you will see that NCLEX does NOT assure that nurses are safe or compassionate...it means that they were able to successfully regurgitate the mess that NCLEX, then Joint Commission and other crappy regulatory agencies want to hear. Good luck in your career and congratulations once more!:balloons:

I promise it will be okay. I have been a nurse for so long that I had to take a test for a day and a half, then I had to wait 6 weeks for my results.

Congratulations!! I am so glad to hear that you passed!!

i am so glad that you posted this. i am having the same experience. i got my unofficial results from pearson...pass. but nothing with bon. some of my friends had their results from the bon within 24 hrs and did not even have to wait for pearson to post their quick results. well, that just made me think that i must have failed for that last 24 hours waiting for pearson to post. i am still waiting for the bon. there is just something about seeing a lic. number that will put my heart at ease.
