I couldn't believe it!! My husband called me and told me. There is nothing I could have done differently so I am ok....I also found out that whoever applied this year that was turned down last year was automatically taken ahead of everyone else. Soooo.....I decided instead of going the LPN route I am going to start working on my pre req for RN. I am going today to talk to the advisor about it. Thanks for all the help though.....hopefully I will be in nursing school soon!!!
Sorry to hear you didn't get in. Good luck on your new route to nursing.
I'm a firm believer in things happening for a reason.
Make your dh take you to a nice dinner tonight. Keep your chin up. See you in the trenches soon enough!

Sorry to hear you didnt get in...THIS TIME. Dont give up!! That you are taking prereqs is excellent.
My first attempt to get into the RN program, I didnt get in either. I had already taken all of my RN prereqs so I opted for the LPN. While waiting, I was accepted into the RN program. For several reasons, I declined still opting for the LPN program.
Things do happen for a reason. Never give up. We just know to score higher and this gives an opportunity for more prep in our chosen field. Also, I know of many, many, many (yes actually that many) people that apply to many different schools just in case they do not get into one for whatever the reason.
Good luck. I know you will make it!

The fact that you know that there was nothing you could do to change your situation is a positive. Plus your attitude is good. You should not have any trouble finding a program to continue your education. Good luck! You are not alone.
