I can't believe it, I just got my NCLEX results back and I failed for the second time!!!!!!!!!!!
I don't think I can pass it. Has anyone else out there failed twice?
I feel like such a loser!!!!!!! I feel like I should just find a new career.
Does anyone have any advice for me????

I know of people who failed numerous times prior to passing. Don't feel like you have to change careers. You might just need a new study plan. Did you use an NCLEX review book or take a course?

Why are you leary of the quick results? Your state gets the same result, they are not sent the exam, but the pass or not pass from Pearson-Vue. It is your final result, it is just not official since they do not handle licenses. But it the correct answer to if you passed or not.

What have you been using to prepare with? How long ago did you graduate and how long did you have berween the two exams?
There are nurses here that got thru on their fifith try so I would not give up hope yet. Sounds more like you need to change what you did to prepare.
And which exam was it for? RN or PN version?
i guess...shock..it says pass

yeah was it for RN or LPN? A friend of mine works with this lady who took LPN boards 4 times and failed. Maybe you should see if you can practice with the HESI if your school offers that. Our school has a predictor test and if you failed that they made you do all of these packets, study guides, computer tests, and the guide book that go along with the computer tests. Saunders is a really good nclex review book.

I also failed twice, on NCLEX-RN.
I took my first in February, and my second in April. I bought the Saunders book and am following Suzanne's plan this time. It stinks, but I worked too hard in nursing school to just give it all up like that. Try the Saunders program- there's a sticky on here about it. Good luck. :studyowl:
i did that saunders started in middle of april...the test for me was almost identical...

when i took the nclex rn i studied saunders and when i look at each question on the test and i don't know the answer i do a process of elimination. in europe and africa they have written tests so you must write the answer yourself. use common sense and the abc's. a lot of the questions are worded to give you a hint what they are looking for.
