I received a date today, I test 3/19-3/21 at Grady in Atlanta. I submitted my application on 02/05/2010 and now I am officially on the "go nuts list" lol. It's definitely crunch time, if anyone have suggestions or advice, please pm me, I need it all. Thanks in advance.

Wow! that was fast. What date did you put down for your ready date, Have you been preparing since the fcca or before? I just faxed my application 2/8 & called later that day to find out the earliest date they have for npac is 5/15 & July if I want the Queen site. I don't have any pointers yet, but I'm excited for you!

Holy cow, the SPAC is moving quickly! Get on the EPN if you haven't already -- that place is great for preparing with your peers. :) Good luck!!!

Thanks Lunah, I have been on the EPN as a silent observer since my theory exams and now I post on there.I have been prepping for the CPNE since I first started taking my exams in bits and pieces now I have to put everything together and practice my skills, careplanning and get my critical elements down pack. I keep changing them but I do better with memorizing the steps as opposed to writing down mnemonics, but I have some now that are working out well.

@ slclpn I put 4/05/10 but changed it to 02/20/10 to make it move faster, but I ended up calling the scheduler and taking a cancellation date.

@lisamc1 I chose SPAC and she had an opening at Gwinett also but I chose Grady.

Thanks Tiffany :) I'll call them tomorrow.

I'll see you there, I'm heading up the day before and doing some lab practice at Sheris before the CPNE. I will go over there again in the morning to get some words of encouragement.

Haha! Way fast Tiffany! Welcome to the going nuts list! You're a week after me! I wake up every morning at 3-4 am and think about the wound! I had to back off the over the counter sleeping pills, but after 4 nights in a row with crap sleep, I'm starting them up again!

Seriously, congrats on the date!!

Steve is that Sheri Taylors workshop you are speaking of and if so is she close to where we will be testing, because I am signing up for her online workshop today and would love to get some extra practice in the day before also.

@ erin, omg I've been studying these ce mnemonics like crazy, my husband even know some of my mnemonics lol, he's my tester, patient and flashcard holder while I am in the shower lol.

Sheri Taylors workshop is 10 miles or so from Grady, I am planning on going up early Thursday and staying at the hotel Sheri has set up for us, the going over to the workshop and getting some practice in, then again Friday morning. Then I think I will try the Holiday in Excelsior recommends for the CPNE, then again Sheri has a great price at the other hotel, I may stay there if they have a shuttle to Grady. That way I can go back to the work shop if I have a retake.

That's my plans any way. Oh I am driving up it's only about 5 hours from the house.

Good for you! Mnemonics have been one of my (many) areas of slacking! I can't decide on what I want. I go back and forth from making my own to looking at others. The created ones are all too elaborate or simple for me. Grr! I am just getting ready to go sit down and do lab mnemonics and other areas of care. I have to decide on something and have them memorized by the end of this weekend (special Valentine's Day!:redbeathe). I keep telling myself that I memorized all these substrate/enzyme stuff for Microbiology, that 30 mnemonics should be easy!
