I scored a 75% cumulative on my entrance exam but my school requires at least an 80%. However, they still considered me because I have 4.0 GPA with 53 credit hours and I'm an honors student with a lengthy list of community service.
But instead of them just accepting me outright they instead gave me the options of either take an assement test and score a 80% or higher then be admitted to the program, or be wait listed for the next two years.
And because I did not want to get wait listed or wait another year to reapply, I chose instead to take the assement test and cheated on it because it was unproctored. I was the only person in the room testing and the lady who was suppose to monitor me left the room for some unknown reason for up to an hour. I don't think she knew that this was considered the "MCAT" for me in a way.
So while she was gone that whole hour I cheated my way through the test by using my phone and the internet and scored a 90% overall. I just received the call today after 6 days from taking test that I am accepted into the nursing program. The assessment test took place at another institution, so if it was not I would have never been able to get away with something like this.

You know what responses you are about to get. Do you just enjoy stirring things up, or was there an actual point to posting this?

I think you're just "nursing around".

I just felt the need to get it off my chest and I just wanted to share my story. And no this is veey serious I am not joking about it.
Then you should tell the school.

I find it a concern that you could cheat your way through the test and score no better than 90%.
lol! Well if I were to cheat I would miss some on purpose. You wouldn't want to cheat & get 100%, then it looks like you're cheating.

Interesting way to start a pathway to nursing...
I was veey nervous thaI i was going to get caught and I was purposely putting wrong answers because it's an assessment test and if I would've scored a 100% it would have probably been an investigation. Also I was required to give up my phone before I went into the room but I had two phones one for work and daily use, so I gave them my work phone. They didn't check me no futher. But my plan was not to go in and cheat.
